The power sector has always been a key market for Modern Heavy Industries.
MDHI supplies many conventional power plants and natural gas combined cycle plants worldwide. Coal-Fired Power Plants tend to have the largest and heaviest
structural sections, comprised of top girder and box columns. These top girders support the horizontal-overhead framework of the boiler suspension system and must
be able to resist extreme loading and vibration.
The heaviest section in this coal-fired boiler power plant project was 240 metric tons, assembled. Box columns
are used as primary main steel columns. They must be rigid enough to endure the most extreme service conditions, loading, temperature, and vibration.
