Modern Heavy Industries (MDHI) has founded a new modular fabrication division, Modern Modular Engineering & Construction (MMEC). Founded in 2017, ground was broken in 2019 and the yard will start producing in the summer of 2020. There are many advantages to front-end engineering to use modular solutions, such as increasing project execution speed, reducing site labor, reducing shipments, reducing site inventory, better constructability, reduced handling, pre-fabrication assembly & testing, etc. MMEC will serve the oil & gas, mining, HRSG, and general construction industries. Services will provide detailed design, superior project management, modular construction, piping, E&I, insulation, etc. for a wide range of process modules.
